Our team is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will handle accounting processes to help us optimize our business while also having opportunities for cross-training, development, and growth.
This is a hybrid role working primarily out of San Bernardino 3-three day a week.
As our Accounts Receivable Specialist, reporting to the Controller, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing and managing Accounts Receivable with precision and efficiency.
Reviewing customer portals for chargebacks and backups, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Identifying and resolving system issues and errors promptly.
Collaborating with various departments to maintain strong partnerships and streamline communication.
Managing customer accounts, files invoicing, and aging reports.
Post/scan check, credit card payments and ACH.
Resolving discrepancies, issuing stop payments or adjustments as needed.
Reviewing and validating bill backs, issuing credit memos and uploading details into accounting software; reconciling with GL accounts.
Supporting internal and external audits by providing accurate and complete documentation.
Develop and manage partnerships with other departments, customers, brokers.
What will make you successful in this role:
Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the food manufacturing industry.
Experience/Exposure to Trade Analysis is strong preferred.
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Strong communication and organizational skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) and knowledge of ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus).
Excellent data entry and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
The capability to handle multiple tasks and projects while prioritizing effectively.
A customer-centric approach, developing and maintaining strong business partner relationships.
