Billing Clerk (Full Time)

*Overview:*
Our growing company in the vape electronic-cigarette industry is seeking a skilled,
detail-oriented and self-driven candidate.
This position is full time and 100% in person.
This person will be working directly with our accounting department to provide general
office support and help manage daily transactions.
This person will be responsible for
data entry, order management, identifying discrepancies, processing payments and
other clerical tasks related to billing.
*Job Description:*
Tasks listed below are to be completed on a regular, daily basis.
Not limited to these
tasks; other tasks may be required.
* Ability to validate totals across multiple payment types
* Assist in order process without interrupting business flow
* Process transactions coming from both online and in person sales
* Maintain paper and electronic filing systems
* Answer and redirect phone calls and emails appropriately
* Establish good working relationships with customers
* Coordinate efforts between both internal and external partners
* Follow communication procedures, guidelines, policies and internal controls
*Requirements:*
The minimum requirements for this position are listed below:
* Basic computer proficiency
* Ability to type 40+ WPM
* Beginner - Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel
* Beginner - Intermediate skills in Google based programs including Calendar,
* Gmail, Docs and Sheets
* Reliable transportation
* Positive attitude, trustworthy, reliable and punctual
* Good interpersonal skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good time management for tasks and workload
* Excellent attention to detail
* Knowledge of basic accounting principles
* Strong math aptitude

* Ability to problem solve with a sense of urgency
* Ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision

*Experience:*
Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
ERP System: 1 year (Preferred)
*Education:*
High school or equivalent (Required)
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other related field
(Preferred)
*Language:*
English (Required)
Bilingual - Spanish (Preferred)
*Compensation:*
Starting rate $20.
00/hour (Rate depends on prior work experience and qualifications).
*Schedule:*
* Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
* 1 hour lunch
* Overtime and/or weekends may be required
