SUMMARY
The International Collections Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day processes pertaining to the department’s activities.
Generally, functions performed have high monetary exposure and risk involving large dollar volumes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
Generates and reviews the daily General Ledger and previous day entries.
Inputs the daily block entries and balancing of work processed.
Reviews and processes Incoming Documentary Collections.
Reviews and processes Outgoing Documentary Collections.
Manages center and associate access to the Currency Teller Program.
Pull reports and complete daily call back to previous day’s entries
Prepare and maintain the Customer Profile Files
Manage the department supply inventory and orders
Retrieve and disburse the department mail and courier packages
Provides, presents, and promotes The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers.
Assists the other associates in the department, as needed, to complete the daily work.
Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A.
A), a minimum of two years banking and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to basic/general questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite software, as well as GFX, Navigator, and Swift.

Must be able to travel ten percent of the time.
Knowledge and understanding of Trade Finance structure.
Experience with processing Documentary Collections.
Knowledge and experience with Uniform Customs and Practices 500, ISP 98, and Foreign Documentary Collection 200.
Working knowledge of the International SWIFT System.
