Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Dealer Controller to join our team.
As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations of the dealership, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate and timely financial reports.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial and accounting operations of the dealership, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly financial statements, cash flow projections, and variance analysis.
- Manage and supervise the accounting team, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor and track dealership inventory and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Conduct audits to identify and resolve any financial discrepancies or irregularities.
- Maintain and manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Participate in meetings with senior management to discuss financial performance and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- *Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the automotive industry.

- CPA designation preferred.
- Proven leadership and management experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial management and accounting principles.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proactive and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements
