Director of FinanceOperations - Inland Empire, CA
This is a strategic position in overseeing the fiscal and operational functions, policies, and procedures of the Operations Finance team.
The role encompasses various responsibilities, including leading the annual budget development process, monitoring expenditures and variances, and proactively updating income and expense projections.
Additionally, the Director establishes procedures for maintaining, monitoring, and reporting performance against the plan throughout the year.
In collaboration with department managers, the Director assists in the development of long- and short-range planning, programs, and objectives.
This involves formulating and recommending programs to enhance the competitive position and profitability of the manufacturing process.
The Director serves as a guide to department managers in developing labor usage strategies, responding to changes in Operations demands, and advocating for business operating principles.
Moreover, the Director plays a crucial role in achieving Operations Finance results aligned with the company's overall business and strategic OKRs, including Sales, EBITDA, and Cash Flow targets, along with established KPIs.
The position involves driving innovative and integrated operations initiatives in partnership with the business president and other members of the senior management team.
Specific skills and abilities required for the role include an extraordinary ability to supervise and manage tasks, coordination with personnel to meet project objectives, proficiency with Microsoft Office products, effective time management, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong understanding of company employee policies.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field, along with 5-10 years of experience in a leadership position in Finance, Accounting, and Operations.
Proven strategic acumen, change management skills, and expertise in process improvement are essential, with a preference for candidates with experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
