The County of Riverside's First 5, Riverside County Children & Families Commission is recruiting for a Senior Accountant located in Riverside.
The department seeks candidates that have experience with preparing financial statements, PeopleSoft's Financial Accounting System, GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles), GASB statements and advanced Excel functions.
This position is in office full time, there are no telecommuting options available.

First 5 Riverside County Children & Families Commission, is primarily funded by tobacco taxes generated by Proposition 10, which passed in November 1998 to help make sure that all our youngest Californians, from prenatal through 5 years old, get the best possible start in life.
First 5 Riverside County also receives state and federal funding to support community programs and initiatives to meet the goals and objectives of the Strategic Plan.
In partnership with the county’s Department of Public Social Services, First 5 has oversight of Riverside County’s Family Resource Centers, which serve as a hub for community services aimed at improving outcomes and quality of living for families in these communities, particularly in overburdened and disadvantaged families and children.
