Accountant I - Probation

The Riverside County Probation Department is seeking an Accountant I to support their Fiscal Services division located in Riverside.
The incumbent in this position will manage and maintain division budgets, process grant claims, develop budgets, and correct journal entries.
The Accountant I will also be tasked with assisting in annual budget projections.
Additionally, the incumbent will analyze and verify general accounting as well as grant monitoring.
The department highly desires candidates who have Access Database and Excel experience along with experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable and analytical review of transactions.
