Harvard College Collegiate Chair, Windsor Chair by Nichols & Stone, Made in Gardner, Massachusetts.
Purchased at an estate sale.
Story was that it belonged to gentleman that went to Harvard the same year as JFK, Class of 1940.
It then was willed to the gentleman’s brother who was a recluse with no children, so the chair saw little use and is in excellent condition.
Nichols and Stone has a long history.
They closed their doors in 2008.
