If you desire to help children with autism or special needs, want to build a career where you can serve others, and be well-compensated, EDBSS may be a great fit for you! The responsibility of the Behavior Technician is to implement treatment plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), to clients with disabilities.
BTs work on decreasing challenging behaviors, increasing positive behaviors, and skill acquisition.
This requires compassion, a firm grasp of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and professionalism.
It involves high levels of interaction with the client, the client’s family, and your BCBA Supervisor.
