Epicor System Analyst
The Epicor System Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, and support of the enterprise resources planning (ERP) systems within the organization.
Additional responsibilities include optimizing business processes, ensuring system functionality, and providing technical expertise to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Essential Duties:
Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for system enhancements and automation.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document functional and technical specifications.
Identify and prioritize system enhancements and change requests.
Design, configure, and customize ERP system modules to align with business needs and optimize Epicor Kinetic system performance.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including process flowcharts, data models, and user manuals.
Lead ERP system implementation projects, including system configuration, testing, and user training.
Collaborate with end-users to identify and resolve system-related issues, providing training and support as needed.
Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to integrate ERP systems with other applications and ensure data integrity.
Conduct user training sessions and workshops to ensure effective utilization and adoption of the ERP system.
Develop and perform maintenance of new and existing test plans in the various application systems that the IT department maintains, such as Epicor ERP and intranet reports (using SSRS)
Manage data migration activities, ensuring accurate and timely transfer of data from legacy systems to the ERP platform.
Provide ongoing technical support for ERP systems, including troubleshooting system issues and implementing bug fixes and enhancements.
Monitor system performance, identify areas of improvement, and propose solutions to optimize system functionality.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in ERP systems to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption of system changes.
Create and maintain system documentation, including functional specifications, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience: 3-5 years of experience preferred.
Significant work experience in the configuration and or customization of ERP systems.
Administration of Windows 10+ workstations and Windows 2012+ Servers, Epicor preferred.
College degree in a related field (Information Technology / Computer Science / Technical Engineering) is a plus.
Physical Demands:
Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
Must be able to lift up to 20-40 pounds at a time.
Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, or crouches.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
Strong understanding and working knowledge of the principles and practices associated with SQL databases, and queries and reports developed from those databases.
Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Must be able to work various shifts that include weekends and holidays.
