CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CSR)
Reports to: Operations Manager
Status: Non-Exempt
PURPOSE - Employee is responsible for new account creation, fielding customer calls, post sales follow-up, and ongoing customer retention efforts according to a defined corporate marketing strategy designed to grow companys commercial fleet fueling business.
This is a sales-oriented position requiring developed personal communication and social skills.
Majority of employees time will be spent in office making phone calls and administering customer retention and accounting systems.
Daily Tasks and Duties include:
Open new accounts, create the account in the billing software, fill card order, and prepare or mail the new account packet to the customer.
Field incoming calls from customers with card or account issues.
Submit fraud claims.
Work alongside and support sales team.
Make outbound retention calls to existing customers.
Work in complex systems (back-office billing software, card network websites) to create cards or troubleshoot issues.
Execute direct mail campaigns to pre-qualified prospective customers
Distribute promotional materials to interested parties
QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced interpersonal and communications skills.
Minimum of (3) years of customer service experience.
Strong Attention to detail
Ability to work in a back-office billing software.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
Ability to work in time sensitive, high-pressure environment.
Ability to work outside office hours when required.
