We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Auto Body Shop Estimator and Service Writer to join our growing team and contribute to our continued success.
We are filling both part-time and full-time positions.
Job Description:
Position: Auto Body Shop Estimator and Service Writer
Responsibilities:
• Estimate and Assess Damage: Inspect vehicles to determine the extent of damage and prepare accurate estimates for repairs, including parts, labor, and materials.
• Customer Interaction: Interact with customers, assess their needs, and explain repair procedures and costs clearly and professionally.
Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Parts Ordering: Order and source necessary parts for repairs, ensuring timely delivery and availability.
• Service Writing: Create detailed repair orders and document all necessary information related to the repair process.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, services, and parts used.
• Quality Control: Ensure that repairs meet high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
Conduct final inspections and communicate any additional work required to customers.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with technicians and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
What you bring to the table:
• CCC One experience and knowledge required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working at an auto body shop preferred.
• Strong knowledge of auto body repair processes, parts, and materials.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and understandable manner.
• Proficient in using computerized estimating software and other office applications.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service skills are required for the position.
• Speaking, reading and writing in Spanish is a plus
• Knowledge of insurance procedures and protocols related to auto body repairs is a plus.
