Provides administrative support and event coordination to ensure efficient operation of the graduate admissions office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains admissions records on all graduate applicants.
This includes monitoring electronic files forcompleteness.
Processes correspondence to prospective students regarding the status of their admission and preferred partner applications, etc.
Maintains appointment book, and schedules appointments for staff.
Responsible for new employees onboarding.
Makes travel arrangements for staff such as booking flights, cars, and hotel reservations and assisting inprocessing expenses.
Maintains a current and accurate budget bookkeeping system.
Responsible for the inventory and ordering of materials and office supplies.
Prepares requisitions and maintenance request forms.
Coordinates graduate student recruiting events including planning logistics and programing.
Provide texting and phone call support for events.
Responsible for processing graduate readmission applicants.
Presents a positive supportive image of the Graduate Admissions Office, California Baptist University,and Christian Higher Education.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position is responsible for assigning work and/or giving
direction to part-time Student Workers in order to complete office work assignments.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to
two years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
