Sylvan Learning Center - Redlands, Riverside or Hemet
We are looking for high-energy, positive, and charismatic beginning reading teachers to help educate and motivate our students using our Sylvan methodology.
Pre-planned lessons
Paid training
Flexible part-time hours / 12-15 hours per week
Responsibilities
Teach beginning reading students (ages 5-10) using Sylvan program.
Use iPads to faciliate lessons
3:1 student-to-teacher ratio during each hour-long session
Knowledge and Skills
State-certified teachers with 4-year college degree preferred.
Will also consider college students currently enrolled in Education/English/Writing-related majors
A strong background in teaching language arts, phonics, phonemic awareness, and comprehension preferred
Must have teaching/tutoring experience of at least 6 months
