How YOU will help make a difference for BHW clients & families: Provide direct 1:1 support to individuals diagnosed with autism (or a related disorder) in their homes, schools, and/or community.
Teach children & youth how to communicate, socialize, and play through the use of research-based techniques.
Not to worry - we will teach you all of our best techniques during training! Collaborate with BHW clinicians to implement detailed plans you will follow when working with your client.
Encouraging your clients and helping them to reach their highest potential.
Let’s not forget to celebrate their progress along the way! Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, etc).
Reliable transportation & the ability to travel up to 30 miles from your place of residence to provide home and/or school sessions where public transportation may or may not be available.
Active auto insurance or the ability to obtain auto insurance.
Available for 12 - 25 hours per week.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
US Work authorization.
Ability to navigate and utilize basic technology such as tablet usage, electronic documentation, email, calendar, etc.
