Essential Duties & Responsibilities Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience: High School diploma or G.

; AND two (2) years of college-level coursework in applicable disciplines from an accredited college or university and at least four (4) years of office administrative support experience, at least one (1) of which was in a lead capacity; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Licenses, Certifications, and Equipment: A valid California driver’s license is required.
Euthanasia Certificate preferred.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment: The employee frequently works in extreme outside weather conditions and on slippery and uneven surfaces.
The employee is often exposed to dangerous, injured, or diseased animals.
The employee is frequently exposed to wet or humid conditions; fumes or airborne articles; toxic or caustic chemicals; and zoonotic and other communicable diseases.
The noise level in the work environment is frequently loud within confined areas.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands to manipulate, handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, sit, talk and hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Supplemental Information City Benefits: The City offers an attractive compensation and benefit package, that includes: Retirement – Participation in the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS).
Classic members with less than 6 months separation: CalPERS 2% at 55, single highest year plan.
New members, CalPERS 2% at 62, three highest year average plan.
Health Insurance – Monthly contribution of $755.
00 (Employee Only), $1,377.
00 (Employee plus one), or $1,841.
00 (Employee plus Family) for health, dental and vision premiums.
