*What We Are Looking For:* We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Controller to spearhead our financial management team.
As an integral member of our organization, the Corporate Controller will assume a pivotal role in orchestrating and supervising the financial operations with precision.
This accomplished individual will meticulously uphold the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, ensure unwavering compliance with regulatory mandates, and make substantial contributions to the overall financial well-being and triumph of our firm.
The Controller will strategically plan and decisively direct the accounting, finance, and treasury operations of our organization's entities.

_*Supervisory Responsibilities:*_ * Oversees the operations of the Accounting Department, which include accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll for the organization’s companies.
* Oversees training programs and identifies training needs.
* Manages the relationships with financial partners and stakeholders.
* Oversees the identification, application and reporting required to maximize cash management through traditional and alternative financial institutions and funding sources.
_*Duties/Responsibilities:*_ * Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
* Works closely with the CEO and COO for cash management and financial reporting.
* Works closely with other departments, executives, and technology departments to provide important financial and accounting information to the company database to provide for useful analytics, AI and dashboards throughout the company.
* Implement process improvements to continuously enhance overall accounting procedures.
* Conduct standard and custom financial analysis and reporting that meets generally accepted accounting principles and business needs.
* Continual revision of accounting procedures and processes to ensure accounting provides the organization the information it needs to make business decisions.
* Provides guidance to the accounts payable team on proper accounting treatment.
* Creates and implement policies necessary to protect the organization from external or internal theft or mismanagement.
* Manage the accounting relationship between sister and subsidiary companies.
* Hire, develop, coach, and make compensation recommendations for assigned staff.
* Assist the COO and leadership as necessary, in the continued expansion of related entities.
* Works with external CPA to provide any necessary required financial documents.
* Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements.
* Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
_*Required Skills/Abilities:*_ * Excellent accounting skills.
* Strong ability to adapt/learn to existing and new technology (including AI) to enhance accounting, reporting and analysis.
* Ability to embrace change and innovation.

_*Education and Experience:*_ * Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration required.
* Five years or more of staff accounting required.
* Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant or MBA preferred.

* Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
