1929 National Triolian (rare wood body) in wonderful players condition.
Formerly owned by Dakota Dave Hull, and worked on by the late Don Young (NRP) some years ago.
Don reset the the neck and removed the fingerboard to plane the neck straight.
He added a very thin layer of maple between the neck and the board which is evident on the side.
He also installed new frets, It plays beautifully.
Set up is low, for ragtime/Country Blues style.
The original patina and mojo on this guitar is truly amazing, warmest sounding vintage National I’ve ever owned.
Mahogany back, sides, and top with front and back stenciled scenes and biscuit bridge.
Maple neck with painted maple fingerboard, dot inlays, and non-adjustable stock neck reinforcement.
Original tuners are functional.
The full sized ”V” neck has been reset, and the fingerboard his been refretted.
Has a 1 7/8” nut and a 25” scale.

Comes with a brown exterior/green interior 50s Gibson style archtop case with a broken handle, fits well but not perfectly.
Note: This fine instrument is nearly 100 years old, yes it sports plenty of battle scars but it’s solid.
If you’re not into old character, then this one’s not for you.
