I’m in Beaumont.
I moved to California at the cruddiest time for a musician and have been struggling to find a stable music situation.
I’ve been to a number of jams, met some musicians, even had a few things going.
But, I am looking for something more professional, and regular.
I play Blues, old school, and some newer stuff.
I love everything from T-Bone Walker and Gatemouth Brown to Jimmy Vaughan and Gary Clark Jr, Tab Benoit, Otis Rush, Magic Sam, Muddy, the three Kings, etc.
I love playing electric, slide and acoustic.
I sing as well.
I have a list of songs I will share.
I am used to fronting an electric band.
I am a front man and enjoy the mic.
But, I am also a good bandmate.
I have solid gear, good transportation, a supportive significant other, a good reputation and a decent resume.
I have played professionally in the past, including a few short tours and playing a few Blues festivals and events with a known artist.
My goal is to get a band together, 3 to 5 piece.
I will sing the majority and play guitar.
(unless, you out sing me.
Then, let’s definitely talk!).
Organ Trio? Or just bass, drums and guitar? Harmonica? Or, even a few horns? Let’s see what works?
I am looking for serious Blues fans, though, please.
I have learned that to be truly successful on the level I want to be, everyone should be on the same page, or darn close.
My goals are to be busy playing bars, private parties, festivals, etc.
I know that I have a skill set and some natural talent.
I just need the right group of friends, or at least workmates, to get it done.
