Job Description Role and Responsibilities
* Be proficient in SMAW, FCAW and GMAW welding processes in all positions.
Certification desired.

* Be proficient in knowledge and use of fabrication techniques involved in the fabrication and manufacture of custom machinery and projects.
* Operation of machinery involved in the fabrication of various types of machinery and structures.
This may include operation of bandsaws, drilling and tapping operations, plate burning equipment and handheld oxygen/acetylene torches.

* Ability to operate lathes and milling machines desired.

* Proficiency in the use of all fabrication hand tools, including drills, grinders, cutting tools, squares, levels, etc.

* Understanding, proficiency, and safe use of overhead cranes and rigging techniques.
·
* Understanding, proficiency, and safe usage of lift trucks up to 8000#.
* Proficiency in the reading and understanding of fabrication drawings and CAD drawings.
·
* Welder/fabricators may be asked to help in the preparation of equipment for painting, assembly of equipment for shipping, testing of equipment.
Installation of equipment at customer sites and other duties required in daily production activities.
Preferred Skills
* Bi-Lingual
* Must be able to do basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Additional Notes
Must be willing to work staggered shift hours.
Shift may fluctuate between 8 hour and 12 hours every day.
Must be available for Saturday shifts as well.
