AAA Roofing and Waterproofing, LLC.
is currently seeking an experienced Estimator who is goal-oriented and self-motivated.
The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining client and vendor relations and performing a variety of tasks, including estimating.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing are required.
*Essential Functions:* * Manage bids from pre-bid to post award.
* Provide detailed recaps to review with management prior to bid.
* Attend bid walks and/or bid meetings as needed.
* Assist project managers with change order estimating and compilation as needed.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes.
* Maintain record of individual bids with win/loss record * Providing estimates of labor costs and material costs based on the type of material, size of the structure and complexity of the project.
* Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for roofing projects * Actively participate and assist with internal processes and approvals as necessary for bidding.
* Promote AAA Roofing and Waterproofing’s identity and brand.
* Create and maintain a comprehensive database of historical cost information for future reference.
* Obtain and evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals.
* Various duties as assigned.

* Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Computer knowledge and efficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office products.
* Ability to understand and follow detailed directions.
* Ability to work on/manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Innovative thinker and constantly thinking ahead.
* Functions effectively as part of a team * Good time management skills and organization skills * Proficient with Microsoft Excel * Edge software experience preferred.
* Professionalism Education and/or Experience Required experience, skills, and competencies.
Candidates should possess technical and business awareness, capability and understanding of the building construction market.
*Work Environment:* This job operates in a business casual office environment.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Job also requires job site visits that include outdoor environment conditions.
