Job Description
The Alarm Camera Technician is responsible to install, maintain, repair security systems, alarm devices, and related equipment following electrical layouts and building plans of the organization.
This person would travel to any of our Southern California location to complete the following:
Install security CCTV cameras for all sites.
Monitor security systems to ensure they are working properly.
Respond to security breaches and false alarms in accordance with the alarm company’s policy and the company’s policy.
Maintain equipment and make repairs as needed.
Install new security systems or update existing systems as needed.
Interpret alarm signals and respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms or burglary attempts.
Conduct security audits to identify weaknesses in security systems or processes.
Diagnose problems with equipment or systems to determine the cause of failure.
Troubleshoot malfunctions in security equipment and systems.
Provide technical support to various departments and clients.
Carry out and develop certain projects with the Inventory Control team.
Provide remote technical support during the installation.
Complete mandatory weekly/monthly or as needed, safety trainings
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
previous experience working with camera alarm systems
basic maintenance experience
basic troubleshooting experience
