*Summary:*
The Hydraulics Assembler and Maintenance Tech will perform the assembling of automated hydraulic test stands including general machining, component installation, hydraulic plumbing layout and installation, electrical wiring, and operational testing.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Fabrication of hydraulic hard lines and hoses, including tube bending, cutting, flaring, and fitting assembly.
* Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing hydraulic test stands, hydraulic power sources, and various hydraulic power sources.
* Follows all safety rules as set by the company.
*Education and/or Experience:*
A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*
* Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
* Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools.
* Experience with the operation and repair of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems and components such as hydraulic power sources, hydraulic pumps, actuators, solenoid valves, servo valves, etc.
* Experience with hydraulic and electrical test instrumentation such as pressure transducers, flow meters, load cells, DMM's and oscilloscopes.
* Able to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, test procedures and specifications.
* Experience with general manufacturing methods including drilling and cutting of materials, tube bending and flaring, basic electrical wiring and soldering, and electrical/hydraulic testing.
