*Summary:* The Hydraulics Assembler and Maintenance Tech will perform the assembling of automated hydraulic test stands including general machining, component installation, hydraulic plumbing layout and installation, electrical wiring, and operational testing.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* * Fabrication of hydraulic hard lines and hoses, including tube bending, cutting, flaring, and fitting assembly.
* Troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of existing hydraulic test stands, hydraulic power sources, and various hydraulic power sources.
* Follows all safety rules as set by the company.
*Education and/or Experience:* A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) is required.
*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:* * Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints.
* Knowledge and use of a variety of hand tools.
* Experience with the operation and repair of hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems and components such as hydraulic power sources, hydraulic pumps, actuators, solenoid valves, servo valves, etc.
* Experience with hydraulic and electrical test instrumentation such as pressure transducers, flow meters, load cells, DMM's and oscilloscopes.
* Able to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, test procedures and specifications.
* Experience with general manufacturing methods including drilling and cutting of materials, tube bending and flaring, basic electrical wiring and soldering, and electrical/hydraulic testing.
*Physical Demands:* These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the Solder Assembler III’s job.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes; airborne particles and various chemicals.
