*Position: *
The IT and Networks Assistant will assist the IT Department with network maintenance, hardware/software support, IT security and compliance, user support, IT troubleshooting and problem solving and collaborating and communicating with applicable personnel.
*Role and Responsibilities:*
· Assist in the maintenance and Upkeep of the organization's computer network and physical IT infrastructure.
· Monitor network and computer performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal functionality.
· Assist with the IT team to identify and implement technology infrastructure improvements.
· Provide technical support for end-users, including hardware and software installations, configurations, and troubleshooting.
· Assist in managing and maintaining servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
· Ensure that all systems and software are up-to-date with the latest patches and security updates.
· Collaborate with the IT security team to implement and enforce security protocols.
· Assist in conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
· Ensure compliance with relevant IT policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
· Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance in a timely and efficient manner.
· Create and update documentation for IT procedures and user guides.
· Conduct training sessions for employees on IT-related topics as needed.
· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
· Escalate complex technical problems to senior IT staff as necessary.
· Collaborate with external vendors for support and issue resolution.
· Communicate technical information to non-technical staff in a clear and understandable manner.
*Qualifications and Education Requirements:*
* Bachelor's/ Associate degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of networking concepts computer architecture, protocols, and security best practices.
* Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
* Familiarity with server management and administration.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant Training in ERP’s like sage and MS office 365 deployments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.
00 - $28.
00 per hour
