Valiant is seeking an Installation Maintenance Coordinator for W-TRS.
Potential locations could include: California, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, Korea, and potential additional CONUS locations.
Essential job duties include but are not limited to:
Leads teams to brief, instruct, and train Army users on installation/de-installation
Set-up, maintenance, and perform mission tasks utilizing Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS)
Responsibilities:
Maintains and files monthly reports on utilization, types of training conducted, number of soldiers trained, availability, and any issue or concerns from the customer.
Remains current on TADSS to provide train-the-trainer training and support in exercises.
Researches and assists in writing technical and user manuals to support training; Works with engineering, technical support, and/or applicable area to ensure that material is accurate and reflects current product features.
Prepares recommendations and reports to senior level personnel and/or management.
Makes recommendations to management as appropriate; Works with senior level personnel and business units/technical areas to conduct needs assessments to ensure maintenance and training needs and all other requirements are met.
Maintain system at specified operational readiness rates; Document all maintenance actions by ensuring correct data is in the ISTS
Assist in maintaining Government and contractor property, tools, and test equipment
Perform inspections and accountability of property
Assists logistics IAW contract requirements and work processes; Provide telephonic and onsite support for the systems.
Mental/Physical requirements for this role include:
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
and wear appropriate personal protective equipment as appropriate.
Ability to perform duties in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, wind and rain) and at height.
Willing to work a flexible workweek.
Must have or be able to obtain a valid state driver’s license and maintain post driving privileges.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
This position may require travel to other installations and other WTRS locations throughout CONUS and OCONUS.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business related field experience or on the job equivalent experience.
Possess an Active Secret US Government Clearance or ability to obtain a clearance.
Desired Skills:
Previous Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS) experience highly desired
