Duties:
* Point of connection between company and customers requesting service/repairs.
Able to answer phone with professionalism and courtesy regardless of stress or pressure.
* Maintains records by collecting equipment performance reports; troubleshooting & repair reports and preventive maintenance reports from field personnel, properly enter information into the company software and file accordingly.
* Receives and records requests for service and repair; identifies appropriate service provider; monitors service progress; redirects service providers for additional support if needed; notifies supervisor of extraordinary problems.
* Maintains customer service by providing the answering service with information regarding continuing issues and with the names of on-call technicians.
* Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
* Keeps information accessible by sorting and filing documents.
* Updates service database by verifying and entering data.
