Welder Helper/Laborer

LCE Telecom, Inc.
is looking to recruit a competent welder helper to support the activities of our welding team.
The welder helper will ensure an organized work environment, and adequate maintenance of equipment and materials.
You will be familiar with various metals such as galvanized, carbon and stainless steel.
To ensure success close attention to details will save money in the long run associated with errors and consequent reworks.
Candidates will be patient, organized, and flexible to adapt to a dynamic work environment.
*Welder Helper Responsibilities:* * Fire Watch.
* Maintain clean work areas at all times.
* Ensuring welders have materials and tools available prior to job setup.
* Setup Job Sites with PPE and signage.
* Completion of JCR's.
* Maintain materials and supplies on the truck.
* Loading and unloading trucks.
* Following welders' instructions.
* Operating various tools and types of equipment.
* Identifying safety risks and hazards, and complying with relevant safety procedures and regulations.
* Cross Training to assist Electrical and HVAC.
*Welder Helper Requirements:* * OSHA 10 Preferred.
* Knowledge of basic welding techniques.
* Comfortable with working on elevated surfaces.
* Resilient to working in adverse climatic conditions.
* Available to work shifts and extended hours.
* Electrical knowledge a plus.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.
