Job Title: Production Supervisor Hourly Rate of Pay: $28.

00 DOE Summary/Objective Responsible for overseeing operations of assigned department(s) including related equipment, staff, and processes to deliver scheduled production on time.
Ensure a safe work environment with efficient production of high-quality products.
Lead the assigned production team and oversee scheduling of day-to-day production activities, ensuring resource availability (capacity, materials, staffing) and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Maintains / supports reporting, metrics, and management routines related to assigned operations.

Ensures a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment in assigned areas Works with production scheduling, engineering, and other cross functional teams to ensure clarity of work order execution, inventory control, shipping & receiving Actively manages staff including coordinating and communicating daily job assignments, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Monitors staffing needs based on production schedules and cost objectives and works with Human Resources to maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, and developing executing personnel development & growth plans.
Maintains efficient workflow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods and implementing improvements; developing reporting procedures and systems; problem-solving; initiating and fostering a positive work environment and spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, ensuring availability of required resources, monitoring the pace and quality of work, resolving problems, reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries and communication boards.
Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
Implement and sustain improvement initiatives such as 5S, Safety, Inventory Reduction, Quality and Process Improvements.
Monitor KPI and implement countermeasures to address gaps Willing to work overtime when the required support is needed by their department Actively looks for ways to improve processes to increase efficiency Performs related duties and project work as assigned by supervision.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE At least 3-5 years of experience as a Production Lead and/or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment, supervising groups of hourly manufacturing personnel Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook & Excel) The ability to read drawings and blueprints Knowledge of office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual English/Spanish preferred) SUPERVISION Position reports directly to the Production Manager and is under his/her general direction.
TRAVEL No travel is expected for this position.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Communicates effectively in both oral and written communications.
Communicates with people outside the Company, representing the Company to customers, the public and other external sources.
Communicates with supervisor, peers and other Company staff working as part of a team contributing to Company goals.
