Accounts Payable/Receivable Clerk

PART TIME 9AM-5:30 M, W, F MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK Applicants who do not possess the following need not apply: * 2+ years of full-time experience as a AR/AP clerk * CAPP or CAPA certification * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * High attention to detail and organization * Proficiency with financial software JOB DESCRIPTION: * Resolving payroll discrepancies and answering any employee payroll queries * Maintaining all payroll operations according to company policies and procedures * Respond to employee inquiries, questions, or concerns regarding payroll * Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs * Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors * Analyzing workflow processes * Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors * Ensuring payables and payroll are processed in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures * Processing due invoices for payments * Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment, and other charges * Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries, and reconciling books of accounts * Working alongside our CPA Job Type: Part-time Pay: $24.
