Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Collect and organize financial information from clients
- Analyze financial documents to determine appropriate deductions and credits
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Utilize tax software and other tools to efficiently prepare and file tax returns
- Maintain client confidentiality and ensure the security of sensitive information
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to analyze financial concepts
- Knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using tax software, such as QuickBooks, to prepare accurate returns
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients
- Familiarity with 10-key typing for efficient data entry
- Experience in financial sales or related field is a plus
