Overview:
As the Manager - Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for supporting all external reporting activities and serve as a strategic advisor on technical accounting matters, including business combinations.
You will lead the financial reporting team ensure audits are completed timely and be the subject matter expert on all technical accounting topics, including primary responsibility for evaluating new accounting pronouncements and policy development.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the company wide relationship with independent auditors to effectively plan and coordinate annual audits; manage, and bring closure to accounting and auditing issues, including the implementation of new accountings standards, judgmental technical accounting and auditing issues
Supporting the related accounting integration of acquisitions including accounting policy alignment, purchase accounting and related disclosures
Provide the executive management and FP&A individuals with advice on both the financial and accounting implications of business activities including new business lines and unique contractual arrangements
Research accounting standards and regulations, prepare memos and implement change as necessary to maintain compliance with US GAAP and other regulations
Deliver accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports in accordance with GAAP
Support all aspects of Esri’s global accounting policies, technical accounting guidance, and financial reporting
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 15 years of experience in public accounting or equivalent experience; or a Master's in Accounting with 12 years of prior experience in public accounting or equivalent experience
Active CPA license
Strong knowledge of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and ability to apply extensive know-how of technical accounting and financial reporting standards
Brings a detail-oriented and hands on style, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands to meet deadlines
Ability to research technical accounting matters and prepare well-written memorandums and presentations articulating these matters to both well versed accountants and non-finance stakeholders
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking with the ability to analyze financial results
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse team
Recommended Qualifications:
SEC reporting experience
Understanding of IFRS
Experience in enterprise software or technology industry
Experience with financial reporting software

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $125,840.
