Job Title: Staff Accountant – Public Accounting Firm

Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and motivated individual with a willingness to learn our business in order to meet our client’s needs.
A staff accountant will be involved in the following:
* General ledger accounting and work paper preparation
* Financial statement preparation
* Business and individual tax return preparation
* Payroll and business property tax preparation
* Tax planning and other projects as needed
Requirements:
* Undergraduate or masters’ degree
* 0 to 5 years of public accounting experience, a plus
* CPA licensed or making progress to be certified, a plus
* Detailed oriented with strong analytical skills
* Excellent organizational and follow through skills
* Strong communication skills
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products
* Experience with Pfx Engagement, Lacerte, and QuickBooks, a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,000.
00 - $100,000.
