Job Description
This position requires knowledge and experience with QuickBooks and inventory builds, in addition to Word, Excel, and similar programs.
Integrity and organization are key attributes as this position is responsible for handling and maintaining confidential information.
Strong inter-personal communication skills and a drive for accuracy are also key.
We prefer candidates have prior experience with a Automotive company.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily drawer balancing and entry of sales and inventory adjustments and inventory builds into QuickBooks 2024 Desktop
* A/P: Entry of all payables, reconciliation of vendor accounts, and payment of bills
* A/R: Preparation of statements, receipt and recording of payments, collection of past dues
* Banking: Preparation of deposits, reconciliation of accounts, payment of credit cards, monitoring of accounts
* General ledger entries
* Generating financial reports as requested
* Administrative support including employee documentation and reporting, records for company benefit programs, and industry and government compliance reports.
* Office Support- supply management, filing, scanning, retrieval and sorting of daily mail
* Other duties as assigned
* *Experience and Skills*
* Accounting degree or equivalent experience in bookkeeping/accounting
* Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
* High proficiency in accounting software and other commonly used business software
* Ability to complete work and manage tasks with minimal supervision
* Use or learn key office equipment such as copiers and scanners
* Effective and personable in all forms of communication- written and verbal
