The County of Riverside's Auditor-Controller's Office (ACO) is seeking a qualified Business Process Analyst III to support the ACO Property Tax Team in Riverside.
The Business Process Analyst III will serve as a lead and provide guidance to the team working on high-level administrative projects.
The incumbent will be involved in business process resources, including support, maintenance, enhancement, and upgrading of the County's integrated enterprise systems.
Additionally, the Business Process Analyst III will conduct complex system analysis and design of business processes, involving the evaluation of current and proposed information.
They will also develop and document user requirements for new and existing systems, processes, and applications.
The Business Process Analyst III will prepare and maintain project documents, requirements, reports, feasibility studies, and quality assurance for control standards.
They will provide project oversight and assistance to subordinate staff and serve as a business process resource on matters related to the support of integrated enterprise systems.
Additionally, they will coordinate with business process managers and departmental staff to adopt system changes needed for new/modified public programs and services.
Lastly, the incumbent will test all business process changes prior to final implementation for quality assurance, collaborate with vendors for the resolution of underlying system program problems, and search corporate websites for posted resolutions and fixes to resolve identified problems.
The most competitive candidates will have previous experience in business process and systems analysis of enterprise systems.
They should also possess the ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, standards, and procedures while collaborating effectively with various stakeholders.
Knowledge of property tax legislation, such as the Government Code, Revenue and Taxation Code, or Health and Safety Code, is essential.
Candidates with experience using the Aumentum property tax system and PowerBI, along with a solid understanding of property tax billings, refunds, allocations, and tax sales, are highly desired.
At this time, the position has the opportunity for a hybrid telework schedule based on business need, however job expectations, at times may require in person interaction.
Telework may change at any time and you will be expected to report to the office.
