Field Canvassers are the face and brand of our company out in the field.
You are the ones that make the initial contact with the community.
It is important that you, the canvasser, understand how important you are to our company’s success and the integrity and responsibility that are needed for this position.
Canvassers are assigned to a team with up to 6-8 other canvassers and one Canvass Lead.
Canvassers are responsible for providing detailed information related to our company’s products and the value we provide.
Canvassers will strive to book qualified appointments which sets up the sales team for success.
On top of the hourly pay, you will be compensated for EVERY appointment booked and ran.
If a sale is made, you can earn commission on every sale made from your booked appointments.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Meet daily door-knocking goals, participate in mandatory trainings, and attend work on time and regularly
-Maintain accurate track of canvassing plan and update lead on any issues
-Appointment Setting: collect names and contact information from potential customers and provide a complete list daily with all relevant information so appointments can be booked.
-Assist team members in achieving goals
-Be able to articulate issues and/or questions and communicate with leads and other team members
-Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time in a variety of weather
-Act professionally and represent our company well
-Be proactive and assertive, use common sense, and build unity amongst team and community
-Must have a positive attitude and outlook with a winning attitude
-Must not be afraid to get “no” for answer and continue forward to reach a “YES”
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-Lead with our values and always keep a growth mindset, willingly taking and incorporating feedback
-Work with a diverse team of staff; including team leads and canvassers, with emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal communication.
-Lead with cultural competency and the ability to build relationships and collaborate
-Metrics-driven approach to planning, evaluating, and reporting to work
-Be detail-oriented & organized
-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Bring previous experience canvassing or the ability to learn quickly
-Have access to mobile phone and internet
