Afterschool Teacher Need
Our teachers assist K-8th grade students with their school homework and prepare them for a successful academic experience.
As part of our standardized curriculum, our program also includes in-class teaching of supplemental materials in both math and English,Reading Plan, art &craft ,and leadership activities.
Job Qualification: We seek hardworking and resourceful individuals who are very detail-oriented, multi-taskers, responsible, organized and able to communicate effectively.
As with all educational settings, such individuals must also possess strong academic performance, and be especially patient, firm, and caring in dealing with children.
Sufficient training will be provided for successful applicants.
We prefer someone who has majored in Education and/or earning their teaching credentials.
Fall and Spring Semester Teachers:
\*Correcting homework and tests.
\*
\*Creating and grading tests and homework worksheets ,art&Craft Activities, Reading recordfor students.
\*Explaining English and Math concepts.
\*Monitors students for the purpose of enforcing school rules and procedures regarding student behavior and participation and/or providing a safe, respectful and positive multicultural learning environment.
•Performs record keeping and clerical functions (e.
g.
copying, correcting papers, form preparation, attendance,)for
the purpose of providing necessary records/materials and helping students succeed.
• Promotes good habits for the purpose of improving the quality of students outcome and encouraging student development
