Qualifications & Requirements
• Program Instructors/ Specialists are required to teach a specific activity/ program at camp.
• All new applicants must be at least 18-years-old
We currently have the following summer camp job openings: (Program Areas might be specific to the camp)
**Equestrian: at least 2 years experience handling, grooming, riding horses;; **Adventure: Reptile Handling & Caring, Outdoor Survival Skills, Hiking & Exploring, Outdoor/ Open Fire Cooking, Fitness;; **Aquatics: Pool and Waterfront lifeguards.
Candidates must have current lifeguard certification or must obtain lifeguard certification prior or during staff training (must show very strong swimming skills and be able to demonstrate all strokes efficiently);; **Arts & Crafts: General Arts and Crafts, Jewelry, Sewing/ Knitting/ Hand Crafting, Drumming/Musicians & Vocalist;; **Athletics: Basketball, Soccer, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Flag Football, Recreational Field Games, Archery, Mountain Biking, and Zumba & Dance;; **Challenge Course: Candidates should have former experience and/ or certifications in in High Ropes, Low Ropes, Teambuilding, Zip Lines, Climbing Tower, Rock Climbing;;
Requirements
Any person accepting a position as a Camp team member is committing herself/himself to a position of great responsibility to the campers, their parents, fellow staff members, the company and the general public.
A camp staff position demands a professional approach at all times.
Personal qualifications include flexibility, patience, leadership, self-confidence, self-motivation, sense of humor, self-control and empathy for children.
