Outdoor Education Activity Specialist Join Pali Institute Today: Share your passion for the outdoors with individuals from all over Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona.
Teach with our outdoor education program and works with students in the 4th-12th grades Wednesday through Friday and lead outdoor excursions, archery classes, and team building sessions to conference guests all weekend.
Activity Specialist Role at Pali: Main Responsibilities: Safety of individuals while leading classes, hikes, high ropes courses, and zip line races.
Provide customer service and assist with conference set up for Friday-Sunday.
Work as Outdoor Educators Wednesday-Friday including program set up, break coverage, teaching and group leading.
Hours and Start Date: Full-time seasonal position Start: ASAP End Date: May 31, 2024 Qualifications: All Instructors Must: Be over the age of 21 before the season starts.
Have prior experience working with large groups of children and/or adults.
Possess ability to work in a team environment with 100+ other staff.
Be flexible and adjust to changes quickly.
Have ability to handle concerns and issues in a constructive manner.
Our Top Instructors Are: Experienced in the camping and/or experiential education fields.
Able to have fun, laugh at yourself and be silly! Passionate about Science, Outdoor Education and/or Leadership Development.
Comfortable and confident teaching and instruction to small and large groups of students.
Willing to learn and grow through constructive feedback, in a timely manner.
