As we continue to rapidly grow, we have an opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join our new operation at Taylor Farms Southern California as a Production Associate, located in Ontario, California.
The Production Associate will be responsible for following all production policies and procedures to support the start-up of this new operation.
This individual will work in a team environment and will report to the Production Supervisor.
*Pay Range: *$17.
00/ hr
*Status: *Hourly, Fulltime
*Days of the Week Needed: *Sunday-Thursday*, weekends and holidays.

*Shifts:*
* 1st shift 5:30M - 2:00PM,
*Work Hours: *8 hours possible OT
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Follow all Safety, Allergen Controls, Food Safety & Sanitation, Food Defense, and SQF policies and procedures relating to job duties
* Maintain productivity metrics, and daily, and weekly goals for production.
* Stand at packing lines to observe and test packets of finished goods
* Keep up with the speed of the packing machine.
* Package finished product into crates.
* Stack full crates (30-40 lbs) on pallets.
* Ensures that adequate packing supplies are stocked in or near the packing machine.
* Responsible for maintaining work area clean and organized.
* Use squeegee, brush, and broom to clean room for CIP.
* Other duties as assigned.

* *Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): *Hair and beard net, gloves, safety shoes, bump cap, smocks
* *Chemical Exposure: *Cleaning Supplies and Food Allergens
* *Temperature: *Refrigerated 37 degrees fahrenheit
*Qualifications:*
* 1 year of experience in food safety in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
* Basic math skills
* Ability to work day or evening shifts and weekends and holidays as needed.
* Ability to maintain a safe and positive work environment.
* Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
* Ability to able to bend twist, stoop, squat, and pivot.
* Ability to walk and stand for 8+ hour shifts.
