Responsibilities:
Write scalable, reusable, and maintainable code
Develop advanced search algorithms for finding the best results amongst billions of records
Design and implement efficient data formats and structures for large amounts of spatially enabled data optimized for rapid search
Optimize existing and new C++ code to reduce memory consumption and to increase performance and scalability
Requirements:
5+ years of commercial software development experience
Strong development skills in C++ (C++11 and higher, STL, Boost, Clang, MSVC), and/or Rust
Strong background in algorithms, data structures and design patterns
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective time management and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field
Submittal of a cover letter
Recommended Qualifications:
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, GIS, or related field

Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is $114,400.
