GROUNDSKEEPER SUPERVISOR - Lewis Retail Centers
Lewis Retail Centers, a division of one of the largest real estate developers in the nation, is actively seeking professional, detailed candidates for a full-time Groundskeeper Supervisor position, located at beautiful local shopping centers in the Inland Empire area.
In your new career, you will provide property, parking & common-area cleaning, painting, and various custodial/janitorial duties, while supervising, coaching, and mentoring a mid-sized team of Groundskeeper/Porters.
Location: Your role will be located in Fontana at a Lewis' shopping center, serving centers in Fontana, Redlands, and Calimesa, Hesperia, Adelanto and Apple Valley, Ca.
Some of your new duties will include:
• Scheduling, supervising, and coaching a team of retail Groundskeepers/Porters who are assigned at various Lewis centers in the Inland Empire area
• Including the Property Manager, report quality control issues to service contract vendors with the property
• Assist with expense saving measures
• Check tenant roof conditions, which may require climbing ladders to the roof
• May be required to lift up to 50lbs
• Utilizing a computer for email communications, scheduling, calendars, and timecard approvals.
• Monitoring parking lot, sidewalk, food court, and landscape area trash pick-up
• Empty/clean trash receptacles, dumpsters
• Assist with vacant unit renovations and tenant service requests
• Graffiti removal and light painting of property curbs, patio areas, and other surfaces as required
• Cleaning/maintenance of directories, tenant mailboxes, light fixtures, etc.
• Reporting of unauthorized solicitors or marketers
• Roving to additional retail centers for emergency needs or as needed (mileage is reimbursed)
• Other duties as needed
Note: You should have basic computer skills for emails, online training courses, etc.
More Info: Weekend work is required, days off will be Sunday & Monday.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are also required.
Work hours are approx.
6am-3pm.
Your Salary & Perks: This is a full-time position offering an hourly wage of $25.
00/hour and all work auto mileage will be reimbursed to you.
You will also receive a $100/month allowance for your cellphone use.
