Summary
Operates and drives the Manipulator for production purposes.

Ability to manipulate parts and tooling effectively Basic understanding of forging process and procedures Ability to follow directions given by the Blacksmith or Supervisor Keeps track of serialization of parts Maintains a safe and organized work area and displays concern for maintain equipment (manipulator, furnaces, etc.
) Train new employees to develop the knowledge and skills in the forging process.
Maintains a safe and organized workstation and follows all company policy, safety and procedures.
May assist Forge Helper as needed Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent GED Minimum one year of experience and/or training This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must have a valid forklift certification Must meet the requirements pertaining to Vision Acuity Testing under the Quality Assurance Manual.
Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
