Position Instructions: Starting Location: 925 S 8th St, Colton, CA Drop Location: 14814 Aloma St.
Lost Hills, CA 93249 • You will be doing a drop and hook.
“Drop-and-hook” is the trucking industry’s term for when a driver drops a full container at a facility and hooks their tractor to a pre-loaded trailer at the same facility.
• You are not responsible for touching the load.
You are responsible for driving to an assigned facility by the client and driving back with an empty or loaded container.
• Make sure to drive safely.
The responsibility of a truck driver holds other people’s lives at risk.
Take the necessary precautions to always drive safely.
Don’t rush and drive carefully.
• You are responsible for your own breaks and lunches.
Take a 15-minute break two to three hours into your shift, a 30-minute lunch break by the fifth hour, a second break two to three hours after.
• Enough time is given to you for load drop off and return.
Make sure you don’t exceed 10-hour work shift.
