DIESEL AND TRAILER MECHANICS
Looking for experienced In-House Bilingual Shop Diesel Mechanics to perform preventative and general maintenance on company fleet.
We are looking to hire a reliable diesel mechanics to add to our in-house shop.
Mechanics with experience with Freightliners, International, DD engines, Cumming engines and trailers
Work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 4pm and some extra overtime when needed and some Saturdays will be required.
The ideal candidate is Bi-lingual who speaks Spanish, its preferred but not required.
To be considered for a position:
Minimum 2 years of experience in semi heavy diesel truck, trailer repair and preventative maintenance.
Must have valid driver's license
Class A License preferred but not required.
Perform engine repairs and be knowledgeable with computer diagnostic programs
Perform BIT inspections
Oil changes, scheduled maintenance and repair
Primary Duties include, but not limited to:
Preventative Maintenance for in house fleet units
General maintenance, PMs and vehicle inspections.
Diagnostic/troubleshooting and repairs on different levels
California 90 day BIT & Federal USDOT inspections
Suspensions
Transmission
DPF Systems
Brakes
Clutches
Alternators
Starters
AC systems
Have Knowledge of:
Air brakes
DPF system
Electrical systems
Requirements and Preferred Skills:
Own your own tools
Pass background, drug screen and physical
Team Player Self-motivated & Leadership skills
Physically able to perform all facets of mechanical and technical skills
