Job Summary: Transport products to instructed locations with care and professionalism.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The driver will start and finish from our depot.
Get daily work assignments from the operations team.
Pickup and deliver pallets to customers daily (live or drop / hook)
Communicate with operations from each customer (arrival, departure, load info, issues, etc.
)
Sliding trailer tandem and chalking wheels at customer and depot
Visually checking your cargo after being loaded at a customer.
Confirm Bill of lading is correct (shipper, consignee, quantity, etc.
)
Turning paperwork into the depot (BOLs, fuel receipt, Maintenance receipts, etc.
)
Putting all data in the ELD
Fueling and adding fluids when needed
Pre and post trip truck and trailer daily
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Job Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Class A commercial driver’s license
Current medical card
Able to operate an automatic tandem tractor.
Able to pull 53-foot trailers.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed indoors in a manufacturing setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, and moving machines/equipment.
Majority of time will be spent on the road in a truck.
Must be able to lift to 10 lbs, push and pull up to 12 lbs, lift, stand and carry consistently, have proper hearing, vision and speech capabilities.
Can wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (Hearing protection, safety glasses, goggles, or shields).
