Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (CCCM) is a Jesus Formed Community on Mission.
Community, Formation and Mission are the three main ways that we believe we are to live out our discipleship to Jesus.
Through Gospel teaching, training, and resources, God’s people are enabled to take their discipleship into their own hands by living out the listening, serving and helping posture of Jesus in our church community.
CCCM will be engaging in the mission of God to reach those who are far from God and his kingdom by engaging in spiritual formation, practicing the way of Jesus through the spiritual disciplines in community and putting the life of Jesus and the community of the spirit on display through non-threatening exposures to the Jesus community.

The ministry began with the church located in Costa Mesa, CA and has flourished and expanded into a multifaceted ministry, which includes Christian Schools, a Bible College, a School of Worship, Christian Radio Stations, Christian radio programs, Christian book distribution, and Christian bookstores.

Calvary Chapel Bible College (CCBC) exists to train and develop men and women of all ages, backgrounds, and nationalities into Christ-like disciples and servant-leaders who know God through His Word and are equipped by His Spirit to serve Him in every area of life, for the glory of God.

Position Purpose / Summary
The Instructor will be responsible for teaching a 14-week course and participating in continuous improvement of the curriculum.
Additional responsibilities may include advising students, participating on faculty committees, and other duties as described in the Faculty Handbook.
Instructors will guide student learning through classes held on campus.
Lastly, to strengthen the Body of Christ, through the light of Gods Word, for service in the world.
In this position, the ideal candidate will serve as a minister of the Gospel, providing spiritual guidance and support to students through prayer and mentorship.
They will also have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ.

Maintain a consistent devotional time with God and actively participate in a local church.

Understand that it is a privilege to serve the Lord in vocational ministry and that those who serve God on staff at CCCM are expected to embrace a high biblical, Christ-like standard of conduct and lifestyle, both public and personal
Requirements / Qualifications / Education
Have a vision for the future of biblical, Christian higher education, training and/or experience in ministry and education, and a set of outdoor/backcountry skills.
Teaching excellence and a willingness to serve the broader college community through service and teamwork are also expected.
A masters degree and 18 graduate-level hours in an applicable discipline are required (to be validated by official transcripts)
Desired Qualifications / Skills / Education
An earned doctorate in biblical and theological studies or a related field is preferred.
Teaching experience at the college level is desirable.
