Student will assist with small group or one-on-one instruction in Language Arts and Math for grades Kindergarten through Fifth.
Will lead reading groups with students.
Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: Knowledge of basic math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division at a Kindergarten through Fifth grade level.
Ability to work in a small group, encourage students and exhibit patience and understanding.
Licenses/Certifications: Other: Minimum qualifications include High School diploma/GED, 12+ college credits earned, experience working with children, pass TB test and criminal background check.

Must be enrolled in at least half-time units (6units for Fall and Spring and 3 units for Winter and Summer).
Must maintain a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.

*IF funded by Federal Work Study (FWS) Grant or Cal Works Work Study (CWS) grant, students must maintain eligibility for the FWS grant to maintain the position.
Work Hours/Work Days for Classified and Hourly Positions Only: Hours will be agreed upon by supervisor and student upon offer of position.
Hours will vary accordingly: Mon - Friday.
Student Employees are limited to 20 hours per week and 8 hours per day (max).
