POSITION SUMMARY
Assists with the daily operations of Private Lessons; assignments, guest communication, and instructor interaction.
This position is located at Bear Mountain or Snow Summit in Big Bear Lake.
Starting wage between $22.
75/hr.
- $25.
38/hr.
depending on experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
At least eighteen (18) years old
Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to operate equipment as needed
An effective communicator who acts as an ambassador of service for the Company internally to staff and externally to guests with respect and maturity
Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as guest policies and procedure manuals
Proficient in Microsoft Office, browser-based research tools, Workday, UKG, Siriusware and Flaik
Highly organized and a self starter; able to multi-task.
Able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays at any of the BBMR resort locations
Offers of employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Follow all Company and Department Safety Policies and Procedures.
Attend training and safety meetings, as well as exhibit the application and retention of all material presented.
Demonstrate the ability and willingness to follow verbal and written instructions; as well as further develop professional skills, abilities, and knowledge.
Exhibit willingness to perform other duties as assigned or assist in efforts outside of department as needed.
Understand and follow procedures for the timely reporting of incidents/accidents.
Follows all safety procedures, in addition to acknowledging the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).
Promote positive guest service by acting as an ambassador of goodwill and information.
Helps to coordinate the Private Sales administration of the SRS, including but not limited to Flaik administration, assigning of lessons, customer complaints, and staff documentation.
Assists the Managers with Flaik duties and tasks.
Responsible for timely input of private requests into Flaik to facilitate timekeeping/payroll.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Mental strain and fatigue may occasionally be caused by trying to resolve tenant issues, meeting deadlines, and balancing the wants and needs of the departmental staff.
Handling emergency situations and working in adverse weather conditions may cause additional mental strain.
Physical hazards include walking up and down steep stairways or driving on surfaces that may be wet/frozen and slippery, as well as exposure to fumes, odors, dusts, mists and gases.
Physical strain may also be caused by lifting or movement of heavy objects, as well as repetitive fine motor activities.
