Strength Coach / Assistant Strength Coach
Looking for a motivated, imaginative, and tenacious individual looking to rule their own destiny within the strength and conditioning world.
We are an expanding athletic training company looking for people not satisfied with the norm, but looking to push their own limits and the limits of the athletes they train - which includes the art of communication, expanding their knowledge base, continuing education and playing well on a team of talented individuals.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
Job Description: 10-20 afternoon and evening hours per week with opportunities to advance to 40 hours weekly.
Trainer will start by implementing predetermined programs for individuals and groups of athletes, before progressing to assessment and program development.
Will have weekly meetings with manager or lead trainer to set goals, continue education, and develop sales leads.
Commission is available to trainers once they are able to assess, program, and train individual athletes and/or teams.
Communicating with clients, parents, and coaches is vital to be successful within the position.
*Qualifications and Skills*
Job Specification: Bachelors Degree in Sports and Exercise Science (or something comparable) AND/OR CSCS, CSCCa, or NASM.
Collegiate athletic experience is preferable however not necessary.
Applicant must have a minimum of 24 months of experience training HS or older athletes to be considered above entry level and not require initial internship hours.
Applicants without experience may still apply.
Must be comfortable working with large groups of athletes, be coachable, and enjoy working as part of a team.
