Bilingual Teacher Assistant

*EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE* High School Diploma, recommended Associate degree in early childhood development, 1+ years’ experience as Teacher Assistant or Certified Basic Teaching *Job Description* Assistant Teacher will assist the Lead Teacher and assists in different activities associated with teaching.
Management of classroom and general supervision are generally key responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: * Ability to present oneself and one's ideas with clarity, confidence and poise * Assists primary teacher in managing classes; * Coordinates with teacher on the day’s agenda; * Checks attendance of students; * Prepares lesson plans and materials; * Conducts lessons under the guidance of the primary teacher; * Conducts tutorial lessons to individual or small groups of students; * Conducts demonstrations as required by the lesson plan; * Distributes all required school materials to students; * Oversees safety and well-being of students; * Maintains cleanliness of classroom and work areas.
* Monitors students’ performance and submits progress reports to primary teachers.
* Provides assistance to new students and assists in their orientation on schools’ regulations.
* Tutors students who have difficulty with Reading comprehension * Provide feedback to instructor after student session * Passion and love for teaching and kids is mandatory.
* Attend staff and committee meetings as required.
* Work with the instructor in recognizing learning problems.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.
00 - $45,000.
